California Etching has the distinction of being one of the first companies in the Napa Valley to offer bottle etching. The company has been supporting the wine industry since 2000 and is located in the downtown area of Napa. The company today produces etching on wine bottles and glassware, as well as screen printing on glasses.

We sell and source a wide variety of wines which can be personalized with etched logos for business gifting and special occasion.

The company changed hands from the previous owner Timothy Arnold, and is now run by Elena and Paul Hanson, a husband and wife team. With a passion for wine and a deep understanding of operating a business, Elena and Paul are committed to continuing the legacy of excellence that the company has built over the years. They bring their expertise and innovative ideas to the table, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Under their leadership, the company is poised to explore new horizons, expand its product range, and delight the customers they serve. 

Elena started her career in marketing in 1995, gaining valuable experience in various industries. This experience led her to purchase her first business in 2007. With her expertise in marketing, business administration, accounting, sales and technology, she is well equipped for supporting the needs of the business and their customers.

Paul grew up in the UK, and has almost 30 years of experience in engineering operations, program management, production and leadership. Having been an engineer and manager at Bentley Motors for 14 years, and subsequently Tesla, he understands the importance of precision, innovation, and attention to detail in producing a high quality product as well as meet the expectations of a premium brand.

Together they bring a wide range of production knowledge, sales, marketing and design expertise to California Etching.
